Climate Adaptation Decision Support Tools

 This session will cover planning tools on watersheds (EPA BASINS), stormwater management (EPA Stormwater Calculator), coastal planning for sea level rise (COAST), and an overview of resources and tools for tribes planning adaptation for climate variability.

The webinar will include four expert panelists:
  1. Sue Wotkyns, of the Northern Arizona University's Institute for Tribal Environmental Professionals, will describe an array of tools and resources for use by tribes across the country.
  2. Curt Baranowski from the Environmental Protection Agency discussing the Climate Ready Water Utilities initiative and our Climate Resilience Evaluation and Awareness Tool (CREAT)
  3. Jonathan "J.T." Lockman of Catalysis Adaptation Partners will demonstrate COAST, a tool developed with funding from EPA, for modeling the extent and cumulative financial impact of future storm surge and sea level rise, and providing cost-benefit analysis for various adaptation strategies
